Who could be better ambassadors to promote the region in national and international arenas than the riders and the horses of Lower Normandy? During the 2008 sports season, the Normandy 2014 candidacy committee therefore decided to help the French Equestrian Federation in the support that it provides to three show jumping riders and five show jumping horses, as well as to two dressage riders and horses, who perform in high level competitions and are based in Lower Normandy.
