Who could be better ambassadors to promote the region in national and international arenas than the riders and the horses of Lower Normandy?  During the 2008 sports season, the Normandy 2014 candidacy committee therefore decided to help the French Equestrian Federation in the support that it gives (providing up to €80, 000), to three show jumping riders and five show jumping horses, as well as to two dressage riders and horses, who perform in high level competitions and are based in Lower Normandy.
This concerns Florian Angot with First de Launay HN - Normandy 2014 and Jaffna de Semilly - Normandy 2014,  Patrice Delaveau with Katchina Mail – Normandy 2014 and Mistinguette - Normandy 2014 and Laurent Goffinet with Flipper d'Elle HN – Normandy 2014.

All three have been selected for their potential, their results, their skills and their experience. They are competing for the colours of Normandy 2014 during competitions in France and abroad and their horses have the affix “Normandy 2014” as the second part of their name.
