In order to draw up the candidacy file and coordinate all of the aspects linked to its creation and promotion, (the technical and sports, budgetary, communication, marketing strategy and organisational elements), the « Candidacy Committee for the organisation of the World Equestrian Games 2014 – Normandy 2014 » has been created. In the event of the games being awarded to Normandy, this association will become the Organising Committee.

Within this candidacy committee, the French Equestrian Federation, the State, the regions of Upper and Lower Normandy, the general councils of Calvados, Manche and the Orne regions, the city of Caen and the urban area of Caen la Mer are sharing their resources and their skills to work together to draw up a complete file and promote it to the FEI.
