The renewal of Normandy’s candidacy in 2014 is obvious for all of the players. Normandy’s legitimacy to host the WEG, which was not all questioned after the defeat of the 2010 bid, has on the contrary been reinforced by the efforts carried out to support the development and the structuring of the regional equine industry and Normandy’s clear objective to become the leading European equine region.

Normandy’s legitimacy in this approach is completely acknowledged. It has the best advantages to organise the World Equestrian Games as it excels in many fields.
