Normandy is a region of breeding, competition, champions and enthusiasts. It is the symbol of the health of the French equine industry.  It is the perfect region for horses. And it is because it has the best advantages to defend France’s opportunity to organise this exceptional competition that the French Equestrian Federation has chosen to support this candidacy before the Fédération Equestre Internationale.
Indeed, it benefits from an natural environment which is favourable to all equestrian activities, first rate facilities, internationally renowned equestrian research centres, a strong concentration of excellent players and companies, and a great deal of experience in the organisation of competitions.

The World Equestrian Games are a unique competition, bringing together the greatest international champions of the    8 disciplines of the Fédération Equestre Internationale. These “world championships” are held in the same place and provide two full weeks of competition, with more than 800 competitors, 61 nations, 850 horses, 580, 000 visitors and 460 million viewers…

All of the players and institutions are mobilized behind this candidacy.
